Sparks from the City

So I have finally managed pry my hands away from the mixing and finally put the EP out (you have no idea how much I want to just push faders about). I told myself I have made on a budget of stuff I have owned for years and it already sounds good for what is basically a bedroom demo. So after I argued with myself I uploaded it, along with an unheard song, Clockwork and it can now be downloaded for any price you want to pay, including FREE.

It is a mix of rock, pop, indie, electronic, chip and guitars…and my mouth.
Hope you enjoy it, chummmmmmmmmmmmmms!

Let Us Play

Along with actually trying to get some shows to play I have been working on getting some sort of decent demo/EP ready. I have picked the tracks that I am going to put on there but I want to re-record a lot of the vocals and guitar. The first that is closest to finished is Let’s Play which I decided to put the guitars back in and fiddle with some of the sounds.
Originally this wasn’t even going to be part of the EP as I just didn’t like it but now after playing it a few times with its new guitar I am really proud of it.

Three Hour Song #8: Already Gone

Song number eight for the Three Hour Song project.

I was having a bit of a hard time coming up with much. When I finally did get something written it was pretty poor and this is the only part of it I liked. Maybe I will add something new on to the end of this part at a later date.

Three Hour Song #7: Cineplex

Song number six for the Three Hour Song project.

This one turned out so much better than number 6. This time my guitar decided it would stay in tune for me and play some happy pop.

There is now a new Soundcloud page where you can download the songs used in the project.
